OOTD - Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff

Second in the series of outfits inspired by the colours and crests of the different Hogwarts houses. I was really pleased with how well received my Ravenclaw outfit was. Thank you for all your lovely comments.
Next up is Hufflepuff. I wanted this outfit to be simple with lots of fun accessories to bring across the character of a Hufflepuff.
I went for block colours of yellow blouse and black skinny jeans. The colours of Hufflepuff are so striking I didn't want to use a pattern. Plus I wanted to use a lot of accessories and didn't want to make it too over powering.
Hufflepuff is the most inclusive of the Hogwarts houses, I wanted to show this in my outfit. As each of the houses is associated with one of the four elements and I decided to use different pieces of jewellery to link to each element.
I wore a Rose Quartz necklace to represent Earth and Hufflepuff. A shell bracelet to represent Water and Slytherin. Feather earrings to represent Air and Ravenclaw. A sun ring to represent Fire and Gryffindor.
I added extra bracelets and rings to complete my look.
I kept the make up very day time and natural. Hardworking Hufflepuffs have little time for fancy make up!
So here is the look all together. Let me know what you think of my Hufflepuff look!
Much love
Charlie x

  1. I am so glad we had another Hogwarts house casual cosplay so soon!! I love Hufflepuff - I think it would be my house - and this is simple and elegant. The yellow isn't too garish either which makes it really pretty and summery.
The jewellery is fabulous. Especially the rose quartz! So clever. Can't wait for the next one!! 👍🏼❤️

    1. Thank you Brittany! You should give it a go. If your not confident with pictures of yourself you can start with using polyvore or a flat lay of your outfit and move on to pictures of you when you are ready! Slytherin are up next!!

  5. The accessories make the outfit; I love it all, especially including something symbolic for each house in this outfit. Hufflepuff are so laid back and accepting of everyone, I really like that you represented that<3

  6. I'm undoubtably a Hufflepuff, but dress more like your Ravenclaw post. I can't wait to see the rest of the houses!
